The prevalence of artificial intelligence (AI) in the workplace is ever growing. It has given organizations a cheaper and faster way to grow their businesses and provide opportunities for growth. In an article published in the National Law Review(LLR) by Polsinelli PC, the article explores the use of AI in the legal system and the complications that may arise with the use of AI in this industry. One of the complications the article explores is the overreliance to complete tasks. I will use the TRAAP method to explore the validity and accuracy of this article. I chose this method for the focus it sets on the time frame, relevance, authority, accuracy and purpose of the article. Bellow is a layout and video assessing the NLR Article using this method.

In a study conducted by Artur Klingbeil, Cassandra Grützner, Philipp Schreck on our ability to trust and over rely on AI ,we see it confirm the article published by Polsinelli PC, sharing that “ people overrely on AI advice in scenarios where the advice contradicts available information and their own assessment”(.Klingbeil A., Grützner C. & Schreck P.).Trust and reliance on AI This brings to light the importance to really assess how often we use Artificial Intellegence and our purpose in doing so, so that we can continue to be critical thinkers and not become overreliant on AI to make impactful decisions on our behalf.

In conclusion, if we contine to overrely on Artifical Intellegence we will begin to lose our human skills and qualities that keep us independant and critical thinkers.
